Begin bij de Torensluis (tram 2, 12, 13, 17 halte Dam of Nieuwezijds Kolk). Eindpunt Magere Brug ligt op loopafstand van metrostation Waterlooplein en tram 14. Rond het Leidseplein 's avonds druk; overdag rustig genoeg om de gevels te bekijken.
