About the shop and affiliate links

Feitjes Amsterdam is free, has no paywall and no subscription. The shop is how the site pays for itself.

What is in the shop. Books, games, maps, prints, tickets and gifts that have something to do with the stories on this site. The editors pick them; we do not sell anything ourselves. Every item links to the shop where you can buy it.

Affiliate links. Links to partners such as bol.com, Amazon, Tiqets and GetYourGuide are affiliate links. If you buy something after clicking, Feitjes Amsterdam receives a small commission. You pay the same price as you would anywhere else. Some partners, such as independent bookshops, pay no commission at all; we list them because we like them.

Independence. No shop or publisher pays to be featured, and nobody gets to read a story before it is published. If we think a book is dull, it does not go on the shelf.

Prices. Prices shown here are indicative and can lag behind the shop. The price in the shop is the one that counts.
